Terms & Conditions

Clean, readable terms for a marketplace built for developers shipping real work.

Introduction

Agentfile is a marketplace platform connecting developers who sell AI coding workflows with developers who buy them. By using the site, creating an account, buying a listing, or publishing a listing, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These terms exist to keep the marketplace useful, trusted, and fair for both buyers and sellers. If you do not agree with them, do not use the platform.

Accounts

You must sign in via GitHub OAuth to access account features on Agentfile. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including purchases, listings, and payout settings.

You must be 18 or older to sell on Agentfile. If your GitHub account is compromised or you believe someone accessed your Agentfile account without permission, report it immediately via Submit a bug.

For Buyers

All purchases are final. Digital products are delivered instantly upon payment, which means there is no physical return process and no general right to reverse a purchase once access has been granted.

If a listing is materially different from its description, submit a bug within 7 days and include the listing URL plus a clear explanation of the mismatch. We do not guarantee that any workflow, config, or prompt pack will work with your specific environment, editor version, infrastructure, or development practices. Listings are sold as-is.

For Sellers

You retain ownership of the configurations, prompts, assets, and supporting files you upload. By listing on Agentfile, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute your listing to buyers through the platform.

All listings must include complete walkthrough documentation: what the setup is optimized for, step-by-step setup instructions, and what buyers need to customize. Listings missing these fields will not be approved. Agentfile reserves the right to remove listings that misrepresent their content or omit required documentation.

You are responsible for ensuring your listing works as described and does not misrepresent what is included. Sellers agree to provide 30 days of general setup assistance after purchase. This means responding to reasonable questions about installation and configuration. It does not include bug fixing, custom feature development, or any engineering work beyond helping the buyer follow the included setup guide. Sellers keep 90%. Agentfile takes 10% per sale. The 10% platform fee is charged at transaction and deducted automatically. You never handle the split manually. Payouts via Stripe every Monday for balances over $25.

Prohibited Content

You may not list configurations, repos, scripts, prompts, or bundles that contain malicious code, credential harvesters, scrapers designed to abuse third-party systems, or anything intended to damage a buyer's machine, data, or accounts.

You may not list configurations you do not own or do not have the rights to sell. Violations may result in immediate account termination, listing removal, withheld payouts, and referral to relevant payment or legal providers where appropriate.

Intellectual Property

All listings on Agentfile are closed source. Full deliverables are provided only after purchase; the marketplace may show a limited preview snippet, but buyers do not receive rights to the complete materials until they complete a transaction.

Buyers receive a personal, non-transferable license to use purchased configurations in their own projects and internal workflows. Redistribution, resale, repackaging, sublicensing, or publishing purchased workflows for third-party access is prohibited.

Sellers are responsible for making sure their listing does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, license obligations, or confidentiality restrictions.

Limitation of Liability

Agentfile is a marketplace platform. We are not the creator of individual listings and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, reliability, or outcomes of a specific workflow purchased through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a transaction is limited to the amount paid for the relevant transaction.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time as the marketplace evolves. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
